Are you an experienced Plant Fitter looking for a new challenge with a reputable and well-established company? Our client, a respected leader in the plant hire industry, is looking for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join their team and help keep their fleet operating at peak performance across the Bristol Region.

The Role:

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of heavy plant machinery on-site and out in the field. This is a varied role with real autonomy—no two days are the same.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out routine servicing and inspections on plant equipment

* Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults

* Attend breakdowns in a timely and professional manner

* Complete job sheets and reports accurately

* Liaise with the service team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently

About You:

* Proven experience as a plant fitter, service engineer, or similar

* Strong knowledge of hydraulics, engines, electrics, and diagnostics

* NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (desirable)

* Full UK driving licence (essential)

* Self-motivated, reliable, and customer-focused
