About the Role As Lead Receptionist, you will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house team and ensuring the smooth and professional running of the reception area. You will lead by example, supporting and managing a team of receptionists while also carrying out the full range of dental receptionist duties.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and support the reception team to deliver excellent patient service

* Manage reception rotas, training, and performance

* Oversee appointment scheduling, patient communications, and front desk operations

* Liaise with clinical and management teams to ensure efficient workflow

* Maintain a calm, professional, and welcoming environment for patients and staff

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience as a dental receptionist is essential

* Experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within a dental or healthcare setting

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Confident using dental software systems and managing appointment diaries

* A proactive, patient-focused approach with a commitment to high standards
