Description

Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure efficient processing of invoices and payments.
Review and approve payment runs in line with company policies.
Oversee supplier account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely receipt of invoices and approvals.
Monitor and improve accounts payable processes for operational efficiency.
Provide guidance and training to accounts payable staff as needed.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.Profile

A successful Accounts Team Leader should have:

Strong experience in accounts payable within the accounting and finance department.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. (V-Look, Pivot Table)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial processes.
Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Job Offer

A salary range of £35,000 to £37,000, depending on experience.
