About the Role

An established manufacturing company in Coventry is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join its production team. This is a hands‑on role suitable for someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the day-to-day operation of the production area
Operate machinery and equipment safely (full training provided)
Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials
Ensure all products meet quality standards before dispatch
Maintain a clean and organised working area
Follow health & safety guidelines at all times
Support other departments when required
Complete basic paperwork or production recordsSkills & Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment (preferred but not essential)
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Good timekeeping and reliability
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
