Info about what the Account Manager role entails
As an HVAC Area Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing a regional sales territory. This includes nurturing relationships with existing customers, driving new business and hitting growth targets. This role is field-based and will see you collaborating closely with sales leadership and product teams to execute a business plan, develop customer account strategies, monitor sales performance and promote the companies HVAC product range. You’ll be key in understanding customer needs, offering creative solutions and representing the brand at events and exhibitions.
Essential Requirements of an Account Manager
* Proven sales experience and a hunger for delivering against targets
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
* Ability to absorb product training and work independently
Desirable Requirements of an Account Manager
* Experience in HVAC or Gas Detection sales
* Familiarity with CRM Systems and customer account planning
* Exposure to technical or safety-related product environments
* Ability to contribute to trade shows and support national accounts
