We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bridal Seamstress and Pattern Maker based in Bromham for one of our clients on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities of the Bridal Seamstress and Pattern Maker

* Working on various bespoke bridal gown projects.

* Reading and cutting out patterns.

* Trimming and sewing items.

* Hand sewing delicate items and applying couture techniques.

* Sewing corsetry and structure into gowns.

* Making adjustments to gowns for finishing touches.

Requirements for a successful Bridal Seamstress and Pattern Maker

* Excellent hand sewing and machine sewing skills.

* Experience in pattern cutting and reading.

* Extensive bridal wear experience including working with corsetry, structure, garment construction, patterns and fit.

* Confident handling and working with luxury fabrics and completing couture techniques such as lace appliqué, draping and embroidery.

Salary: £18.50 per hour
Location: Bromham, Bedfordshire
Type of Contract: Contract
Hours: Part time, 9:30am – 4:30pm 2-3 days a week
