Salary: £30,000-£34,000 per annum, depending on experience

Description
The key responsibilities of a Credit Controller will be:
Ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices through effective communication, maintaining a robust and scalable sales ledger function suitable for a growing business.
Review and distribute invoice copies and customer statements as required.
Liaise with internal teams and relationship managers to resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently.
Proactively pursue overdue payments via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
Support the administration and ongoing maintenance of the direct debit system.
Accurately allocate and reconcile receipts within the accounting system, escalating discrepancies promptly.
Conduct detailed analysis of overdue accounts and aged debt.
Prepare aged debt reports, identifying and escalating potential bad debts.
Produce weekly and monthly reports for internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal departments and external clientProfile
A successful Credit Crontroller will have:
Previous experience in a Credit Controller role.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Confident communicator with handling calls and working to targets.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
