Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker to join a Housing Association based in London on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working a mixture of early and late shifts on a rota basis.

Key Duties:

* Providing individual support to clients of the housing association’s supported living schemes

* Promoting independence and empowerment

* Assisting clients with day-to-day tenancy issues, payment of rent, claiming benefits, and preparing units to let

* Undertaking referrals and assessments of potential clients, working with them to identify housing solutions

* Completing support plans, risk assessments and other interventions

* Maintaining database systems

Requirements:

* Previous experience of providing housing support to vulnerable clients

* Excellent customer service skills

* Enhanced DBS

* Willingness to travel to meet the needs of the service
