An established, design-led engineering consultancy is looking for a skilled Revit Technician to join their growing team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented technician to work on a wide range of structural engineering projects, delivering high-quality BIM models and technical drawings across the residential, commercial, and public sectors.
The Role:
Working closely with engineers and project teams, you’ll take a lead role in producing accurate 3D models and technical drawings using Revit Structure. You’ll support the delivery of coordinated, clash-free models and contribute to the development of BIM processes and standards within the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage detailed Revit models for structural projects in concrete, steel, masonry, and timber.
Produce 2D and 3D technical drawings in accordance with project specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Maintain model integrity, file structure, and documentation standards.
Assist with BIM coordination and contribute to digital workflow improvements.
About You:
Strong proficiency in Revit Structure with a solid understanding of structural detailing.
Previous experience in a consultancy or design office environment.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks is beneficial.
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
