Industrial Sewing Machinist - Immediate Start

Location: Leyland

Hours: Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00

Contract: Temporary (with immediate start)

Are you an experienced sewing machinist looking for a new opportunity with an excellent employer? We are seeking skilled individuals to join a well-established company based in Leyland.

What You'll Be Doing

Operating specialist industrial sewing machines, including flatbed (lockstitch) and overlock machines.
Following patterns, work instructions, and technical specifications to produce high-quality garments and textile products.
Performing regular quality checks to ensure all items meet required standards.
Handling a variety of fabrics, from standard uniform materials to specialised textiles.
Carrying out routine machine maintenance and adhering to all health and safety procedures.
Maintaining a clean and organised workstation and completing accurate work records.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience using industrial sewing machines (flatbed and overlock).
Strong technical skills and understanding of garment construction.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in stitching and finishing.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
High level of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
