We’re working with a highly regarded secondary school in Thurrock that’s looking for reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to join them on an ongoing basis from June 2025. This is a great opportunity if you're someone who enjoys working with young people, thrives in a classroom setting, and values variety in your work week.

You’ll step into different classrooms across a range of subjects, keeping students on task with pre-prepared lesson materials when their usual teacher is absent. It’s a key role that keeps the school running smoothly—and the best part? You get to decide when you're available.

What you’ll be doing as a Cover Supervisor:

* Supervising lessons across various subjects using pre-set lesson plans

* Offering general support to students as they work

* Adapting quickly to different classrooms and year groups

* Reporting back to the teaching team on how lessons went

* Ensuring students stay focused and on task

* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
