Electrical Engineer
Job Description

Lead electrical and commissioning of new laser and plasma machines
Diagnose and resolve electrical, CNC and motion control faults during build and validation
Sign off electrical functionality prior to machine release
Design electrical architectures and PLC-controlled motion systems for new CNC platforms
Specify and integrate drives, motors, controllers, sensors and laser subsystems
Support prototype builds and system validation with cross-functional teams
Act as the internal escalation point for complex electrical and PLC-related faults
Provide advanced root-cause analysis to support the Service team
Develop structured technical guidance and training for internal engineers
Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control panel layouts
Ensure compliance with CE, UKCA, Machinery Directive and safety standards
Create and maintain BOMs, test specifications and build documentation
PLC coding is owned within this role 
Electrical Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related field
Experience in CNC machinery, special-purpose machines or industrial automation
Strong capability in industrial electrical design, PLC control and multi-axis motion systems
