Sales Executive - Logistics
Location: Reading
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 basic | OTE up to £70,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift pattern:Monday-Friday
Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in logistics? We're looking for a driven Sales Executive to join a well-established provider in the logistics sector. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives
Identify, engage, and convert new client opportunities within the logistics space
Manage the complete sales cycle - from prospecting to closing deals
Conduct outbound calls and telemarketing campaigns to generate leads
Collaborate closely with internal operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Tailor logistics solutions to meet specific client requirements
Represent the company at industry exhibitions and association meetingsEssential Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' sales experience in logistics in the UK (haulage and/or courier), ideally with knowledge of ADR/dangerous goods
Must be eligible to work in the UK and provide proof of 5 years' UK residency
Proficiency in managing the sales process, including use of CRM systems and bid documentation
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proven track record of closing sales and managing key accounts
Proactive approach to daily sales activity and pipeline development
