About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Continental/British Chef to join the kitchen team at a prestige pub specialising in modern British cuisine and small plate dishes. This is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for chefs who are passionate about high-quality food, creativity, and delivering a premium dining experience.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of modern British and Continental small plates.

Ensure every dish meets the pub’s high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.

Maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene, food safety, and organisation.
*
Work efficiently under pressure while collaborating with the kitchen team.
*
Assist with menu planning and seasonal specials, bringing creativity to the table.
Candidate Profile
*
Proven experience as a Continental or British Chef, ideally in a prestige pub, fine dining restaurant, or gastro-pub setting.
*
Strong knowledge of small plates, modern British cuisine, and flavour balance.
*
Food Hygiene Level 2 (minimum).
*
Reliable, professional, and calm under pressure.
*
Immediate or short-notice availability preferred.
