NES Fircroft is recruiting a Research & Development Technician with a focus on seed production to join a leading agricultural company. This role is based at our client's site in Bracknell on a 12 month contract.

As a Research & Development Technician you will carry out day to day production and maintenance of plant and seed materials.

You will Also be responsible for:

Maintain plants under glasshouse conditions
Identify areas for improvements in efficiency
Accurately keep records and databases current.
Ensure compliance and regulations on containment and use of genetically modified organisms and licensed plant material in glasshouses, growth rooms and labs.Education and Experience:

General knowledge of plant biology
Knowledge of seed production and horticultural techniques
Use of Microsoft office programs
