Our Client, a World recognised and respected Automotive OEM Manufacturer & Dealership based in Buckinghamshire are actively seeking an experienced Parts Operative / Stock Controller / Picker / Packer to join their highly successful team with immediate effect on a Contract basis (Inside IR35). On offer to the successful candidate is a competitive hourly rate.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
In this role you will be supporting the Parts Team with all aspects of stock control from delivery to workshops and customers. Moreover, you will be involved in;
Goods receiving, storage and supply of Parts.
Picking and packing orders.
Complete tasks, such as stock consolidating, relocating and perpetual inventory counts.
Liaising with Parts Advisors to identify and report shortages.
Ensure Goods Inwards, the Packing area and the stores maintain good housekeeping. You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Should ideally be educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent, although plenty of relevant experience will be considered.
You should be an experienced Parts Operative / Stock Controller / Picker / Packer who is PC literate and able to add data onto Parts tracker documents.
A knowledge of stock control measures and methods is required.
Ability to work alone and as a team player with good written and spoken skills.
PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Flexibility to work additional hours as required to meet demands of peak activity periods. It’s great if you also have the following:
Automotive industry experience.
Experience of Dealer Management Systems would be advantageous.
Good MS Excel skills, but this is not essential.This position is available with immediate effect.
