Inspection of Aerospace forgings for the main OEM's

Contract duration: 3-6 months

Pay rate: £25 p/h (Inside IR35)

Location: Redditch

Frequency:

Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, although there can be additional hours and also flexibility.Our Aeropsace customer is seeking skilled individuals to support visual and dimensional measurement of Forgings efforts at their facility.

Job Description:

Visual inspection with some Forgings requiring manual dimensional assessment using all common manual measurement equipment.
Daily inspection of Forgings. Resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate.
Further orientation will be performed onsite.Skill Requirements:

At least 3 years' experience using dimensional inspection equipment
Hands on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5
Must be able to interpret Blue Prints and drawings
Familiarity with Quality and Manufacturing processes
Preferably an inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports
Boeing, Airbus, Spirit, Collins, Meggitt, Rolls Royce and some Defence Platforms.
Must be UK Citizen
