About the Company
Our client is a well-established and industry-leading manufacturing business. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join their engineering department and play a key role in supporting operational efficiency across the site.
The Role
As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across the engineering team. You will ensure that maintenance work is effectively planned, prioritised, and executed to minimise downtime and maintain production performance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and scheduling preventative and reactive maintenance activities
* Coordinating engineering resources to ensure efficient workflow
* Managing maintenance schedules using CMMS or internal systems
* Liaising with production teams to prioritise workload and minimise disruption
* Supporting the resolution of breakdowns and service-related issues
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures
* Driving continuous improvement within maintenance planning processes
The Ideal Candidate
* Technical engineering background, ideally with experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment
* Proven experience planning and scheduling maintenance activities for an engineering team
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Proactive and solutions-focused approach
