This role is less about chasing leads and more about resourcing, relationship-building, and ensuring we're always the recruiter of choice. You'll manage an established client account, handle incoming vacancies (both contract and perm), and oversee a junior consultant with around one year of experience.
The Role
Client Management
* Act as the go to recruiter for your client’s hiring needs.
* Strengthen long-term relationships by understanding team dynamics, culture and workforce plans.
* Provide market insight and strategic hiring advice.
Candidate Resourcing
* Source, screen, and qualify candidates for a range of technical and professional roles.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline for both contract and permanent hires.
* Manage candidates through the full recruitment journey.
Team Oversight
* Provide day-to-day guidance to a junior consultant to support their development and ensure account success.
Full Lifecycle Recruitment
* Manage the entire process: role brief, advertising, sourcing, interviews, offers, onboarding.
* Use a mix of methods: job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, etc.
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years experience as a Recruitment Consultant.
* A proven biller with strong client-facing experience.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills.
* Someone who thrives in a relationship-led, fast-moving environment.
* Experience in the rail, infrastructure, or engineering sectors (preferred but not essential).
* A team player who’s confident mentoring others.
