Full Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our growing team as a Dual Registered Manager for residential childcare. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects managing the home, we endeavour to create a safe environment that is homely and nurturing, enabling for positive relationships to be formed and for the children and young people to make progress in all areas of their development. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make a significant impact within our organisation, to put their stamp on a home and have significant input the direction of company growth.
Responsibilities:
· To manage the daily running of the children’s home, in line with company policy and regulatory requirements. Supervising and providing guidance, support, direction and leadership to staff.
· To Model best practice approaches during challenging behaviours, ensuring there is coherent and consistent high levels of care.
· To register as a Manager with Ofsted and to work directly with and as part of the senior management team for the best interest of the children, young people, staff and company.
· To be Designated Safeguarding Lead.
What we are looking for:
· A strong working knowledge of EBD and behaviour that challenges.
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working within a Children’s Residential Home as a Registered Manager.
· Experience in providing supervision, mentoring and upskilling for staff.
· Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential childcare (or equivalent qualification).
· Full UK Driving Licence
· Right to work in the UK
