Where will you be working?
Aviation- Our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.
We are presently seeking to recruit a Site Agent to join our Defence team. You will be managing Civil engineering projects across our varied portfolio of civil infrastructure works in safety and operationally critical environments across the UK and overseas.

What will you be doing?
Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
Site supervision
Health & safety management
Supervising labour and staff
Producing method statements and risk assessments
Site cost/value control
Programming
Commercial reporting
Client liaison
Organising plant & materials
Supervising construction projects and overseeing build / construction activities
Liaising with clients and reporting progress.
Management of sub-contractors
Cost monitoring and control
Control of health and safety on site
Quality control of all construction activities
Responsible for all correspondence and record keeping in accordance with Dyer & Butler procedures.What you’ll bring
You may currently be working as a Site Agent/Site Manager for a Civil Engineering Contractor or you may be a Sub Agent/Project Engineer looking to take the next step.
Ideally Degree qualified in Civil engineering (or equivalent), with a successful track record managing civil engineering & infrastructure projects
Project management & delivery experience within a safety critical environment
Fully conversant with safety regulations (particularly CDM)
Possess a strong commercial acumen with knowledge of project management and NEC forms of contract, to manage day to day contract obligations
Demonstrable experience with both the commercial & project deliverables on previous projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate the people working with you
Proven experience in managing civil engineering and building projects
Proven MS Project skills
SMSTS
Proven ability of managing temporary works
Minimum of 5 years experience as a site manager
CSCS Card – Black
Full Clean Driving License
IT Literate
Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractorsWhat’s in it for you?
