JDR are recruiting a Workshop Technician on behalf our client based in Aberdeen. As Workshop Technician you will be responsible for assembling, testing and maintenance of company products.
 
The Role: Workshop Technician (Mechanical)
Location: Aberdeen
Contract: Permanent
Rate: £38,000 - £41,000 DOE
 
What you will be doing as Workshop Technician:

Carry out assembly and where applicable test, of a wide range of equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and product specifications
Assemble industrial machinery and other hydraulic/mechanical equipment and components
Conduct quality inspections on products and parts, troubleshooting where applicable
Prepare finished product for shipment
Working collaboratively with wider workshop team and management
Ensure QHSE systems are adhered to, reporting any issues where necessary  
Experience/skills our client are looking for:

Experience in similar mechanical/ hydraulic workshop based role
Ability to operate hand tools
Measuring and marking, cutting, grinding, drilling and tapping holes
Driving licence advantageous
