Full-Time KS2 Teaching Assistant – Year 3 | Bridport Area | £90–£95 per Day | September Start

We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Year 3 class of 30 pupils this September, with a key focus on both 1:1 and small group support.

About the Role:
Full-time position starting September
Working within a lively Year 3 class of 30 pupils
1:1 support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Leading small group interventions in maths and English
Collaborating closely with class teachers and SENCO
Supporting SEND pupils with tailored interventions and inclusive practices
Your primary responsibilities will include delivering targeted support to a pupil with ASD to enable them to fully access the curriculum, as well as running small group sessions for pupils requiring additional help in core subjects. You’ll play an essential role in promoting engagement, building confidence, and creating a nurturing classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a KS2 Teaching Assistant, ideally within Year 3 or similar
Confidence and capability in supporting children with ASD and additional needs
Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and phonics
Ability to lead small group interventions with measurable impact
Calm, compassionate, and resilient approach to classroom challenges
Team player who communicates effectively with staff, pupils, and parents
