Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? Prospero Teaching is working with a fantastic school in Taunton that is seeking a 1:1 SEN TA to support a student with additional needs starting this September.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 support for a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation, and social development
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
Monitor progress and adapt support as needed
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) is desirable
A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
