About the Opportunity

I’m working with a well-established, market-leading organisation with an impressive UK and international presence. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an experienced Accountant to join their expanding finance department.

This role offers a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to move from practice into industry, or for an experienced in-house Accountant seeking more responsibility across multi-entity accounts and reporting.

The Role

You’ll play a key part in managing the financial health of several business entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency across all areas of accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage financial ledgers, ensuring compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting Standards.

*

Complete balance sheet reconciliations and process bank transactions.

*

Prepare monthly management accounts, including inventory and sales reporting.

*

Produce ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decision-making.

*

Maintain and improve internal financial controls and procedures.

*

Liaise with external auditors.

*

Proactively identify and implement improvements to financial systems and processes.

About You

You’re an organised, detail-focused finance professional who enjoys variety and autonomy in your work.

Essential Skills & Experience:

*

ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).

*

Proven experience in financial accounting and/or audit.

*

Strong knowledge of UK and international accounting standards.

*

Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.

*

Confident Excel and financial systems user.

*

Strong communication and time management skills.
