Learning Support Assistant - Secondary

Prospero Teaching are working with several secondary schools in the Wirral area who are seeking motivated and caring Learning Support Assistants to join their support teams. The role will involve working closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students to stay engaged and make progress across a variety of subjects.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with experience supporting young people - whether in education, youth work or care - who is looking to make a real difference in a school environment.

The successful candidate will:

Have previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting

Be confident supporting students with additional learning needs (SEN experience desirable)

Demonstrate patience, empathy and a positive approach

Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in support work (desirable, not essential)

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
* Location - Wirral
* Position - Learning Support Assistant (Secondary)
* Type of work - 1:1 and small group classroom support
* Start date - As soon as possible
* Contract type - Temporary
* Full time/part time - Full time
* Minimum rate of pay - £90 - £100 per day
* Hours - 8:30am to 3:30pm

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional references
