Primary School Classroom Assistant - SEN School
Location: West Drayton
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time | Term-time only

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Classroom Assistant to join a warm and supportive SEN primary school.

About the Role:
As a Classroom Assistant, you will support children aged 4-11 with a range of needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning difficulties. You'll work closely with teaching staff to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing one-to-one or small group support
Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs
Supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs
Providing personal care support if required
Helping to create a calm and nurturing classroom atmosphereRequirements:

A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
Experience in an SEN setting is desirable but not essential
