Without a Document Controller, construction is basically guesswork.
Procore Guru needed…
Document Controller | London Bridge (8mins walk) | Permanent | Start: Jan or Feb 2026
Let's give document controllers some credit. Without you, the wrong revision gets built, RFIs disappear into the ether, and site teams end up arguing over drawings that should have been binned three weeks ago. With you, the job runs like it's meant to.
This contractor is known for super-prime residential and bespoke interior fit-out projects - the sort of schemes where close enough isn't close enough. They work on listed homes, heritage spaces and high-spec interiors. The kind of projects where the paperwork matters just as much as the plasterwork.
What you'll be doing (the 4 key elements)
·Document Control (without the drama) - every drawing, spec and RFI in and out of the business runs through you. No more which version are we on? debates.
·System fixer-upper - take a look under the hood, tidy up the setup, and actually use those tools everyone's been ignoring since 2020.
·Training day, every day - from bright-eyed new starters to battle-hardened PMs, you'll get everyone using Procore properly (and maybe even liking it).
·Reports that tell a story - pull the data, slice it, dice it, and turn it into something useful - not another chart nobody reads.
Who we need:
·Someone who actually likes Procore (and knows how to get the best out of it).
·Clear communicator, professional but not stuffy.
·Detail-obsessed, organised, and calm under pressure.
·Friendly, approachable, and able to chase without turning into a broken record.
Why it matters:
Because you'll be the one quietly keeping multi-million-pound projects on track. No headlines, no fanfare - just the satisfaction of knowing the whole thing would collapse without you.
I know this ad's had a bit of fun, but I'm a serious recruiter, working with a serious contractor, on a seriously good opportunity.
