We’re seeking a proactive and commercially minded Operations Manager to join our team in Kennington, leading the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced reactive maintenance business. This is a key leadership role overseeing a team of mobile engineers, managing service delivery, and ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction across a diverse commercial and residential client base.

What You’ll Be Doing

Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of mobile engineers, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Client Relationship Management: Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction throughout the service cycle.

Commercial Oversight: Use your commercial acumen to drive operational performance, support business growth, and maximise profitability.

*

Quoting & Estimating: Produce accurate desktop estimates for reactive repairs and minor works, balancing speed and attention to detail.

*

Service Delivery: Monitor job progress, prioritise urgent works, and ensure SLAs and KPIs are consistently met or exceeded.

*

Problem Solving: Address operational challenges as they arise, coordinating resources and liaising with internal teams to deliver effective solutions.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience: Previous experience in an operations or service delivery role within property maintenance, FM, or construction—preferably reactive maintenance.

✅ Leadership: Strong people management skills with a hands-on approach to motivating field teams.

✅ Customer Focus: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional and solutions-oriented mindset.

✅ Commercial Acumen: Comfortable managing budgets, producing estimates, and identifying opportunities to improve margins and efficiency.

✅ Organisational Skills: Able to juggle multiple tasks and respond quickly to changing priorities in a reactive environment.

✅ Tech-Savvy: Confident using job management systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office.
