Mobile HGV Technician
Location: Oxford & surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join our team, covering Oxford and the surrounding areas. This is a Monday–Friday, day-shift role offering excellent earning potential, a company service vehicle, and a stable workload with no weekend commitments.
You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of HGVs at customer sites and roadside locations, ensuring vehicles are kept safe, compliant, and roadworthy.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
Attend breakdowns and provide roadside assistance when required
Complete MOT preparations and inspections
Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company standards
Accurately complete job cards and service records
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Provide a professional and reliable service to customersRequirements
Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance)
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently in a mobile role
Good understanding of health & safety regulationsWhat’s on Offer
