Quantity Surveyor - Fit Out - Bristol 

Quantity Surveyor - An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join an independently-owned fitout contractor with over 40 years of experience in the industry, where your expertise will support flagship projects across the UK—from high-street retail and hospitality to hotels and supermarket environments. You’ll be part of a close-knit team working closely alongside contracts managers delivering prestigious contracts backed by strong financials and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities 

Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and cost plans

Monitor variations and handle change control throughout the project

Track spending and cash flow to ensure financial efficiency

Measure and value completed works for progress claims and final accounts

Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to manage costs and agreements

Procure subcontractors and review their quotations

Monitor progress against budget and highlight any issues early

Ensure compliance with contract terms and company procedures

Provide cost advice and updates to support the project team

Attend site visits and project meetings to stay up to date

The Ideal Candidate

Previous fitout experience in retail, hospitality and commercial fitout sectors. 

Motivated, with excellent communication and written skills.

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Experience with framework contract rates.

Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.

Benefits 

Salary between £45,000-£55,000 dependent on experience
