A fantastic Primary SEND School based in Haywards Heath is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEND Support Worker to join their committed team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support primary-aged boys with Autism, ADHD and Challenging Behaviour, working closely with them on both a 1:1 and small group basis.

The Role:

Supporting students across the primary age range (4–11 years)
Providing tailored interventions to support communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and development
Working collaboratively with class teachers, therapists and other support staff
Promoting a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with children with SEND, particularly Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour
Be patient, empathetic and calm under pressure
Possess strong communication and relationship-building skills
Be confident working both independently and as part of a supportive team
Be committed to promoting inclusion and helping every child reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
