JOB TITLE - Qualified KS2 SEN Teacher

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced KS2 SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Bristol.

This is a full‑time position, with the potential for the contract to be extended or made permanent depending on performance.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS

Location: Bristol
Position: Qualified KS2 SEN Teacher
Type: Full‑time
Pay Rate: £130 - £180 per day
Hours: 8:20am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - mandatory
Proven experience teaching in UK primary schools
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Experience supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, SEMH, Speech & Language Needs, or Moderate Learning Difficulties
Up‑to‑date Safeguarding Training (within the last year)
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A patient, positive, and student‑focused approach to teaching

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an Enhanced Child-Barred List DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
