Special Needs Teacher – Birmingham
A well-established special school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teacher to join their team and teach small classes of students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties and complex learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Special Needs Teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and wants to make a genuine difference.

As a Special Needs Teacher, you will deliver engaging and highly differentiated lessons in a supportive, well-resourced environment. You will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants and a strong leadership team who are committed to providing outstanding outcomes for both students and staff.

Job Role:

Teaching small classes of students with special educational needs
Planning and delivering personalised lessons to meet individual needs
Creating a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment
Supporting students’ academic, social and emotional development
Working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and support staff
Monitoring progress and contributing to individual learning plansYou Will Need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
Experience teaching students with SEND in a school setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A patient, flexible and nurturing approach
