Description
As the Planning Manager, you will,
Develop and implement effective planning strategies (production / demand / supply) to meet operational goals. This will include a complete review of the supply chain, understand both manufacturing and supplier capacity constraints, to build a plan that can deliver to customer promise
Regularly review the operational plan with production / operations to understand bottlenecks, and support a drive to efficiency
Collaborate with procurement teams to align planning objectives with supplier capabilities.
Analyse data to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively, working with sales and the customer to balance priorities, and improve the customer experience
Identify and address potential risks in the supply chain, proposing mitigation strategies
Lead a team of planners, providing guidance and support to build engagement and performance
Contribute to the SLT to support operational and strategic goalsProfile
A successful Planning Manager should have:
Experience within the manufacturing sector, with the capability of developing planning processes
Strong analytical skills and a results-driven approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in planning software and tools relevant to the industry.
A solid understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management principles, ideally having implemented SIOP processes previously
A proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior business leadersJob Offer
