Asbestos Surveyor - North West

Location: Manchester (covering the wider North West)
Salary: £35,000 - £39,000
Contract: Permanent | Full-time

A long-standing asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover a well-established portfolio of work across the North West. The majority of projects are based around Manchester and Liverpool, with only occasional travel into the West Midlands.

You'll be stepping into a stable, organised role with existing clients, sensible scheduling, and strong operational support already in place. All work is commercial, focused on schools, hospitals, and large healthcare facilities, offering consistency and technically interesting projects rather than fragmented site work.

What's Included

£35,000 - £39,000 salary (depending on experience)

Company car or car allowance

Commercial contracts only

No requirement to attend an office - drop-and-go sampling process

Four days on site / one admin day working from home (flexible)

Long-term, secure role within a reputable consultancy

Your Responsibilities

Delivering Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264

Surveying education and healthcare properties across the region

Producing accurate, compliant asbestos survey reports

Managing your own workload with support from an established back-office team

Ensuring all work meets current legislation and HSE requirements

What We're Looking For

BOHS P402 (or equivalent qualification)

Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor

Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and best practice

Confident working independently in a field-based role

Full UK driving licence
