About the Position

* Job Title: Computer Science Teacher

* Location: Redhill, Surrey

* Type: Full-Time, Permanent

* Start Date: January 2026 (or sooner if available)

* Salary: Competitive, based on experience and credentials

Key Duties

* Teach engaging Computer Science classes for Key Stages 3 and 4

* Plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons in line with the national curriculum

* Help students succeed and foster a love of coding and digital literacy

* Contribute to the ongoing development of the Computer Science department and wider school community

* Participate in extracurricular opportunities, such as coding clubs and tech competitions

Preferred Candidate Qualities

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification

* Earned a degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject

* Previous experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level

* Strong knowledge of the subject and current curriculum requirements

* Outstanding communication and organizational skills

* Ability to truly motivate and encourage students

* Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of every student
